Some events on the global wine calendar have become essential fixtures. The Concours Mondial is of course one of them, as is Vinexpo which is still the benchmark for wine trade shows. The Concours Mondial team will be on hand during the five days of the show, as it is every other year. This year for the first time, the competition is hosting a typically Belgian party in an archetypal Bordeaux setting. The aim is to showcase medal-winning wines and spirits from Luxembourg… It is highly likely that this particular award ceremony will be like no other… The prize-winners of the 18th Concours Mondial will receive their awards in the prestigious setting of Château Malartic-Lagravière in Pessac-Léognan, owned by fellow Belgians, the Bonnie family. The atmosphere already promises to be enjoyable and relaxed. Guests will be treated to a selection of typically Belgian products and will even be take part in a tasting of… Belgian beers!
