The next event in Guimaraes, Portugal, May 4, 5 and 6, 2012

Generally considered as the cradle of Portugal and the heart of Vinhos Verdes, the 2012 European Capital of Culture will host the 19th Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

On tour since 2006, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles has travelled from Lisbon to Maastricht, Bordeaux, Valencia, Palermo and Luxembourg. Next year, Guimarães will be its next stop.

This year, with 650 entries, Portugal ranked fourth among participating countries, a clear indication of the vitality of the Portuguese wine industry.
